Cantinamena

Volcanic soil & organic viticulture

At the foot of the town of Lanuvio, surrounded by greenery between the Roman countryside and Agropontino, stands Amena vineyard (hence the name CantinAmena) which extends for 18 hectares in a strategic position to exploit the mild sea currents of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the coldest of the Roman castles and of the nearby Simbruini mountains.

The vines, which are cultivated without the use of synthetic pesticides and chemical herbicides, are of different origins. They range from those that are typical of the region and local traditions, such as Cesanese and Malvasia del Lazio, to those of international scope such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Viticulture

We follow the growth of the vine day by day and after that the transformation of the wine: starting from the must, then into the barrels and finally into the bottles.
